MRI Technologist to join the MRI Department in Oakland! /n We are
offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus to eligible hires for a 2-year
commitment! /n This position will primarily work daylight and
evening shifts, Monday through Friday, with no overnights required!
Rotating holiday and weekend coverage availability is required, as
well as possible limited on-call hours. No travel required! /n Join

Responsibilities /n /n - Performs MRI procedures while practicing
MR safety guidelines. /n - Prior to the start of exam, reads and
presents all relevant information to the physician based on
protocol and identifies all patients properly by using two
identifiers. /n - Labels, prepares, and administers contrast. /n -
Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents
patient history in electronic record, as required. /n - Ensures all
exams are properly coded and tracked, all patient information is
updated and documented, all exams are properly networked, and all
charges are adequately entered appropriately. /n - Interacts with
both patients and coworkers while displaying a high level of
caring, listening, dignity, and respect. /n - Demonstrates the
ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and
concise manner, and the ability to explain procedures to help allay
the patients’ fears and solicit their cooperation. /n /n - Graduate
of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion
of an accredited CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program. /n - ARRT
registry-eligible technologists must obtain ARRT within 6 months of
hire date. /n /n - MR registry must be acquired within 18 months of
the date the primary registry was acquired. /n /n - CNMT, ARDMS,
and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR registry within 12 months of
hire date. /n /n Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: /n /n -
ARRT Certificate OR American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Technologist (ARMRIT) OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
(ARDMS) /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) /n /n - CPR required based on AHA standards
that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component
