Job Description Job Description Job Overview / Description: Assisting walk-in customers with product needs and questions. Processing cash and charge sales for material pick up. Answering general phone calls and e-mails. Utilize the showroom to help customers make product selections. This role is vital due to the first impression our customer receives when coming to Allegheny Millwork & Lumber. Responsibilities and Duties Answering general phone calls and e-mails Processing cash and charge sales for walk-in traffic Scheduling deliveries Special order processing Always prospect for new business opportunities Continue to expand on product knowledge Stocking shelves and maintaining the showroom Qualifications / Skills General knowledge of construction and /or building supply industry Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies Excellent communication skills Cheerful working attitude Outstanding customer service skills Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to upsell Ability to stand most of the day and lift 50lb.
