Job Summary:



Responsible for aiding in the production of materials in the bindery area by stacking, packing, labeling and finishing product at the binding/stitching stage as well as helping out on other bindery equipment.



Essentials Duties:

• 
  
• Reads work order or follows instructions to ascertain materials or components.
  
• Responsible for jogging product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid to assure good running in bindery or mailing department.
  
• Separate signatures by hand based on customer specifications.
  
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
  
• Complete skid flags and packaging slips to ensure accurate tracking.
  
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
  
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together, using banding machine and clincher.
  
• Other duties as assigned by management

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks

  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed

    • BHD: 7am - 7pm: e/oWednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
      
    • BHN: 7pm - 7am: Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night and e/o Saturday night
      
    • Overtime pays time and a half after working 40 hours within the work week
      
    • Shift premium: $1.00 for working 2nd shift, 3rd shift and over night shifts.
