Job Description Job Description Mancan is hiring an Assembler/General position in Bowerston, Ohio, 1st shift, 7:00 am 3:30 pm, Monday Friday Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in All Departments: Provide support to various company departments as needed, including general plant maintenance tasks. 2. Shipping Department Support: Act as a helper in the shipping department, assisting in packaging and preparing products for shipment. 3. Product Assembly: Assemble products as required and package them for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy. 4. Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrate mechanical inclination and the ability to work with hands to handle assembly tasks effectively. 5. Material Verification: Verify and prepare packages for outbound materials, ensuring they meet the specifications outlined in work orders. 6. Material Receiving and Stocking: Receive, verify, and stock inbound materials accurately. 7. Inventory Management: Sort and place products on shelves and in bins according to a predetermined sequence, contributing to efficient inventory management. 8. Physical Capability: Possess the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as meet mobility requirements such as standing, walking, reaching, and bending. 9. Computer Skills: Utilize basic computer skills to support documentation and inventory tracking tasks. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in assembly or general labor roles is a plus. - Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hands. - Physical stamina to meet lifting and mobility requirements. - Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions. - Excellent communication skills. - Dependable and punctual. Working Conditions: - The role requires standing, walking, reaching, and bending during the shift. - Regular lifting of objects up to 50 pounds may be required. - The work environment may include exposure to manufacturing machinery and warehouse conditions. - Safety equipment and training will be provided.
