ANSYS, Inc. seeks Senior Application Developer to work in
Canonsburg, PA and various unanticipated locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Implement and configure business software
applications in support of business areas within ANSYS. •
Responsible for the validation of business requirements,
development of system designs and processes, complex system
configuration, development of custom features and enhancements, and
complex report and database query development for one or more
business systems or environments. • Perform complex configuration,
custom development, testing, and documentation supporting
enterprise business applications. • Serve as a recognized as
subject matter expert for multiple applications, development
platforms, development tools and/or technologies. • Communicate
impact of issues to senior IT and business unit management. •
Collaborate with other IT functions to design solutions for complex
problems and understand end-to-end business processes. • Design and
develop integration solutions, data migration strategies and tools.
• Lead and mentor a development team as part of a larger project.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in
Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a
related field of study, and five (5) years of experience in a
related position. • Work experience or academic coursework must
have included: • Five (5) years of experience with development
tools PLSQL, HTML, and Java; • Five (5) years of experience
designing and developing complex custom enhancements to business
systems; • Experience designing and developing integration methods
for business systems and data using web services, XML or other
industry standard methods; • Complex database concepts and
development; • Experience with the implementation of industry
standards for application and data security. • Additional work
