Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for cooking, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and plating menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following all health and safety regulations Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service Follow proper food storage, labeling, and rotation procedures Assist in restocking ingredients and supplies as needed Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and grilling Maintain a sense of urgency and attention to detail, especially during peak hours Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Benefits & Perks Competitive pay Employee discounts on food and beverages Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive and team-oriented work environment Flexible scheduling options
