Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Rehab Nursing Tech to join our team, providing top-notch care in a rehabilitative environment at our inpatient facilities. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to the specific needs of patients recovering from significant injuries and illnesses. Our Rehab Nursing Techs play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their highest level of independence through compassionate care and clinical excellence. Assist nursing staff with patients' daily activities and care routines. Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff. Help patients with mobility, including transferring, walking, and navigating. Educate and support patients and families concerning post-rehabilitative care. Maintain patient hygiene and comfort throughout the recovery process. Ensure adherence to all safety and health regulations. Strong interpersonal skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Physical endurance and strength Proficiency in documenting and maintaining patient records Knowledge of basic health care procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or similar certification preferred. CPR certification required.
