Echo Tech Location: Zanesville, OH Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $3,120 to $3,280 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $78.00 - $82.00/Hourly. Summary: The Echo/Vascular Ultrasonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart and vascular system to assist physicians in evaluating cardiac function and vascular health. The technologist operates advanced ultrasound equipment, produces high-quality images, and collaborates with cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and patient care. Responsibilities: Prepare patients for echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures. Explain the procedure to patients and answer questions to ensure comfort and cooperation. Review patient history and physician orders prior to the examination. ?Perform transthoracic, stress, and Doppler echocardiograms to assess cardiac structure and function. Conduct vascular ultrasounds including carotid, peripheral arterial, and venous studies. Acquire high-quality images of blood flow, heart chambers, valves, and vessels. Perform Doppler, color flow, and spectral analysis to evaluate cardiovascular health.
