nursing is needed for a contract position in Coraopolis, PA. The
role involves working at a well-established hospital known for
providing comprehensive surgical care. This opportunity offers a
dynamic work schedule with rotating shifts across days, evenings,
and nights, including on-call duties and weekends to ensure
continuity of patient care. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in operating
room nursing Ability to work all rotating shifts (day, evening,
night) Comfortable with required call and weekend shifts Compliance
with flu and COVID vaccination requirements, with accommodations
for medical or religious declinations Location: Situated in
Coraopolis, PA, this location provides access to a community with
abundant cultural, recreational, and dining options. Easy commutes
within a 50-mile radius are expected, with competitive local rate
considerations available for those living nearby. Responsibilities
and Duties: Provide perioperative nursing care to patients
undergoing various surgical procedures Collaborate with surgical
teams to maintain sterile environments and patient safety Manage
patient monitoring and documentation during surgery Participate in
call rotations on weekdays and weekends Adhere to hospital policies
regarding infection control, including vaccination protocols
Schedule/Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts covering days, evenings,
and nights Approximately 36 hours per week (except orientation
week) Call shifts required on weekday and/or weekend Weekend shifts
may include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday Additional Information:
Navy blue scrubs required Offers must be accepted or declined
within 48 hours; once accepted, time off requests cannot be changed
Candidates within 50 miles may qualify for a lower local pay rate
