Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Pediatrics CVICU Job Details: • Work in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit requiring strong critical thinking skills and ICU skillset • Provide immediate cardiac post-operative patient care • Manage inotropic medications and mediastinal chest tubes • Handle central lines and arterial lines • Provide neonatal care with advanced airway management • Operate ventilators and provide family-centered care • Deliver post-cardiac catheterization care • EPIC EMR experience preferred • Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1 for ICU care and 3:1 for Intermediate care • Care for cardiac patients requiring both intensive and intermediate care levels • Patients typically remain on unit until discharge Facility: This healthcare facility features a state-of-the-art 12-bed Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit that opened in November 2023.
