Locums About the Facility This 131-bed hospital in southern Indiana
features a comprehensive oncology program with a 16-bed specialized
unit. The facility houses an integrated clinic, infusion center,
and radiation oncology department within the same suite, equipped
with a linear accelerator for advanced cancer treatment. About the
Facility Location This region offers world-renowned natural
attractions including spectacular waterfalls and entertainment
venues featuring casinos and family-friendly activities. Visitors
can explore historical landmarks, participate in seasonal
festivals, and enjoy year-round recreational opportunities
including scavenger hunts, cultural galleries, and various outdoor
activities near the famous waterfalls. About the Clinician's
Workday The clinician will provide hematology and medical oncology
services with emphasis on oncology cases over hematology. Board
certification in both medical oncology and hematology is required,
along with BLS, ABLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. The position
involves clinic work, infusion services, and radiation oncology in
the same suite utilizing a linear accelerator. The clinician will
participate in second call coverage for weekdays and weekends,
including patient rounding responsibilities during call periods.
