A sign-on bonus is available up to $6,000.00 Positions open are on 2nd and 3rd shift. Position Summary: The CT/Radiological Technologist is responsible for the overall operation of the CT scanner including patient care while producing quality CT images and quality control. At times when not needed in CT, the CT/Radiological Technologist will work as a registered staff technologist in general radiology (mammography or bone density, if applicable). This position is also responsible for clinical instruction of radiography students completing rotations in the Radiology Department. Department Specific Qualifications: High School diploma/GED – Required Completion of an Accredited Program- Radiology Technology required Must be eligible for State of Ohio Licensing process (ARRT required) Responsibilities & Expectations: Moves throughout the facility, appropriately assists in emergency drills and performs the physical requirements needed to deliver services as assigned.’ Performs CT exams and radiologic exams under the direction of a physician and provides quality images. Works cooperatively with unit staff, physicians and ancillary departments. Performs all tasks and duties of this position according to hospital and department policy and procedure. Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital’s Values. Delivers service that builds customer satisfaction. Actively supports and encourages Primary Support Person (PSP) / Family involvement in patient's care, with consent of patient.
