Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in Athens, Ohio. This is a great chance to provide vital emergency care in a supportive community hospital located in a vibrant college town.Position: Locum MD/DO Emergency MedicineLocation: Athens, OhioKey Responsibilities:Deliver emergency medical care to patients with a wide range of acute and urgent conditions.Perform standard ED procedures including intubation, suturing, splinting, and resuscitation.Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other medical staff to provide coordinated, timely care.Ensure thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.Participate in scheduled shift coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO).Active Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.Prior experience in emergency department or locum settings preferred.Assignment Details:12-hour shifts; flexible scheduling available.Competitive daily rate with additional compensation for nights and weekends.Travel and lodging expenses fully covered.Malpractice insurance provided.Full credentialing support included.Serve a diverse patient population while enjoying the cultural and natural attractions of Athens, OH.
