Join an adult Med/Surg team with a primary respiratory assignment./n /n/nTravel Nursing Job Details/n /n - Location: Zanesville, OH 43701 (on-site)/n - Unit/Setting: Adult Med/Surg (primary assignment on Respiratory unit; may float to other Med/Surg areas)/n - Start Date: 03/16/2026/n - End Date: 06/15/2026/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel contract)/n - Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM/n - Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/n - On-Call: No call required/n /n/nRegistered Nurse (RN) Requirements/n /n - Experience: Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience (must be able to interpret telemetry rhythms)/n - Licensure: Active Ohio RN license/n - Certification: Active BLS (AHA)/n - EMR: Current Epic proficiency required (must be fully proficient upon arrival)/n - Skills: Strong assessment, prioritization, and patient education skills; comfort floating between Med/Surg units as needed/n /n/nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities (Night Shift)/n /n - Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients, with primary focus on respiratory patient populations/n - Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; recognize and respond to changes in patient condition/n - Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and complete comprehensive assessments and reassessments/n - Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, discharges, and patient/family education/n - Document accurately and efficiently in the facility’s EMR, following unit and facility standards/n - Float as needed to other Med/Surg areas while maintaining quality and safety/n - Maintain compliance with infection prevention practices, patient safety standards, and unit protocols/n /n/nWhy Zanesville, Ohio (43701)?/n /n Located along the Muskingum River, Zanesville (43701) offers a relaxed, community-focused feel with easy access to riverfront parks, scenic trails, and local dining and arts.
