Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Nursing Position - MedSurg/Tele Float Pool/n/n Location/n Location details are not specified. /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 12-hour night shifts, with weekends scheduled as required. /n/nJob Description/n The MedSurg/Tele Float Pool nurse will provide care across various units, primarily floating between 6N and 7N. The role requires proficiency in managing a variety of patient conditions, delivering safe and effective nursing care, and ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Caring for patients with a range of diagnoses including CHF, cardiac cath, pneumonia, and COPD. /n - Administering medications and treatments as per patient care plans. /n - Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, with the ability to recognize abnormalities. /n - Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. /n - Participating in unit-based patient care meetings and quality improvement initiatives. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS and ACLS certifications are required. /n - All travelers must pass a cardiac rhythm exam. /n - Experience in acute care settings, particularly with telemetry, is essential. /n - Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips is required. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
