Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West
Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU -
Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days,
nights, rotating - Employment Type: Travel RN | 30 beds | Charting:
Allscripts (Sunrise) Local/Submittal rules: 50-mile radius
unexpired DL required in packet; licensing hits must be disclosed
Required certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Ratios: goal 1:4, typically 1:5
(can hit 1:6) Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week
schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun count) Must-have skills: Tele rhythm
interpretation titrate drips (Amio, Cardizem, Dopamine/Dobutamine,
Labetalol, Nitro, Heparin; occasional Lasix) Floating: required
(Tele/MedSurg; up to 1:6 / occasional 1:7) Pandemic Unit
Support/notes: IV starts done by IV team 24/7; RT/Pharmacy 24/7;
scrub color navy; tele techs present but RN must read strips.
