Flex full-time schedule that can fluctuate between 28-40 hours per
week depending on business needs. Scheduling discussed in advance!
Varying 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts across rotating daylight and
evening hours. An occasional overnight shift may be possible.
Rotating weekend shifts and team-divided holiday coverage hours. NO

Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary
based on individual experience and education, at manager
discretion. Responsibilities: Identifies all patients properly by
using two patient identifiers and documents patient history in
electronic record, as required. Reviews patient history and
assesses physician orders, and prior to the start of exam, reads
and presents all relevant information to the physician based on
protocol. Practices and maintains MR safety in the department,
including the labeling, preparation, and administration of
contrast. Ensures all exams within area of responsibility are
properly coded and tracked through RIS system, all patient
information is updated and documented, all exams are properly
networked for archiving and interpretation, and all charges are
adequately entered for the exams performed. Demonstrates a strong
ability to interact with both patients and co-workers, while
displaying a high level of caring, listening, dignity, and respect.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in
a clear and concise manner, and explain procedures to help allay
the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation. Able to work as
team member within the department and all other departments to
expedite patient care efficiently. Graduate of an ARRT-approved
school of Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited
CNMT, ARMRIT, or ARDMS program. ARRT registry-eligible
technologists must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire date. MR
registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary
registry was acquired, or date of hire if primary registry is
already obtained. CNMT, ARDMS, and ARMRIT graduates must obtain MR
registry within 12 months of hire date. Previous experience with GE
and Siemens scanner applications is preferred, but we welcome
anyone with the willingness and ability to learn new systems!
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Certificate OR
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
(ARMRIT) OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Basic Life
Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) CPR required
based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills
demonstration component within 30 days of hire. Act 31 Child Abuse
