Job Description Hunter Recruiting is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Akron, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/01/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract PCU RN - Akron, OH - Nights available 13 week contract - 7PM - 730AM ACLS, BLS required for submission NIHSS required during onboarding Must have 2 years of RN experience Must have EPIC EMR experience Must be able to draw blood and start IVs Unit information: This is a 32-bed Cardiac Progressive Care/Tele unit that specializes in CHF. Ratios for nightshift 1:5 can occasionally go up to 6.Proficient in heparin drips and administering blood products. Proficient in EKG interpretations and rhythm changes.
