Job Description DT-Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physician Assistant Correctional Family Practice for a local contract job in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Family Practice - Discipline: Physician Assistant - Start Date: 04/22/2026 - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Federal Bureau of Prisons FCC Hazelton, Bruceton Mills, WV Pay $62 per hour – Go higher if you need but this is LPTA No overtime Job Type Contract Full time Temporary assignment Period of Performance April 22, 2026 through October 10, 2026 Option to extend up to April 7, 2027 Schedule Monday through Friday 8 hour shifts Between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM 30 minute unpaid lunch No weekends No federal holidays Location Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton Bruceton Mills, West Virginia Setting Federal correctional health services Male and female inmate population Duties • Perform comprehensive medical assessments • Manage acute and stable chronic conditions • Conduct sick call and physical exams • Perform minor procedures and suturing • Provide emergency and urgent care • Administer medications and IV therapy • Order and interpret labs, EKGs, and imaging • Conduct mental health and suicide risk screenings • Document in electronic medical record • Work with physicians and interdisciplinary team Requirements For Nurse Practitioner • Active unrestricted NP license in any US state • Graduate degree from accredited program • National board certification • Current BLS, ACLS preferred • One year recent clinical experience • Ability to pass federal background check For Physician Assistant • Graduate of ARC-PA accredited program • NCCPA certified • Active unrestricted PA license in any US state • Current BLS, ACLS preferred • One year recent clinical experience • Ability to pass federal background check Additional • Federal contract position • Non personal services • Professional liability and workers comp provided • Two providers needed • LPTA federal award • Fast credentialing and onboarding Apply Submit resume, license, certifications, and references for immediate review.
