Pay Information $1,520 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN General, Dialysis, Mental Health) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: Relevant certifications as required Must-Have: - Strong clinical skills - Experience in corrections or similar settings - Ability to administer medications and perform specialized procedures - Leadership and organizational skills Description: Responsible for the healthcare of bedridden inmates. Makes rounds and evaluates care needed and rendered. Develops care plans and teaches healthcare principles. Administers medications, including narcotics. Delivers all direct nursing care as needed. Performs specialized procedures such as IV therapy, wound care, and dialysis. Organizes and oversees emergency response teams. Directs healthcare staff assigned to the area. Acts as lead worker in charge of the assigned shift in the absence of a senior nurse. Assists in diagnostic health evaluations. Implements clerical tasks including charting and documentation of medications and treatments. Completes required reports and maintains inventory of controlled substances. Arranges outpatient clinic appointments and medical examinations. Handles prescription orders through local pharmacies. Performs administrative tasks and serves as a liaison within the organization. Conducts and/or attends relevant meetings. Serves as an instructor on occasion.
