Title: MRI Technologist Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15219 Schedule:
(4)10 hour shifts and rotational, Day, night, weekend Compensation:
$30.27-$45.45 hourly range * based on experience, Sign on bonus Up
to $30,000 with a 3 year commitment, Relocation Assistance ranging
from $3,000 to $5,000, $9,000 student loan if graduated after
12/2023 Type: Direct-Hire/Permanent Overview: Our client, an
esteemed medical facility, is seeking an MRI Technologist to
operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners and create
detailed images of patients' internal structures. These images
assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. If

submit your application! Responsibilities Maintains clinical
competencies for all exams and equipment. Identifies all patients
properly by using two patient identifiers and utilizes universal
protocol when performing procedures. Review patient history and
assess physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols
for optimal results in data acquisition, including the labeling
/preparation/and administration of contrast. Documents patient
history in electronic record as required. Prior to the start of the
exam, read and presents all relevant information to the physician
based on the protocol Ensures all exams within his/her area of
responsibility are properly coded and tracked through RIS system,
all patient information is updated and documented in Rad
Assessment, all exams are properly networked to ISITE for archiving
and interpretation, and all charges are adequately entered for the
exams performed. Practices and maintains MR safety in the
department. Demonstrates a strong ability to interact with both
patients and co-workers, while displaying a high level of caring,
listening, dignity and respect. Able to work as team member within
the department and all other departments to expedite patient care
efficiently. Performs procedures for reviewing, processing and
archiving. Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to
patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to
help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation.
Requirements MRI Tech: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of
Radiologic Technology, or completion of an accredited CNMT program
or accredited ARDMS program and Must obtain MR registry within 18
months of hire date. MRI Tech Advanced level: Completion of formal
training in MRI-related program accredited by the ARRT. 2 years MRI
experience required. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA
standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration
component within 30 days of hire ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear
Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic
Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Basic Life Support (BLS) OR
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting
