We’re seeking an experienced Drinking Water / Wastewater Engineer who’s ready to leverage their industry knowledge and professional network in a part-time sales and marketing capacity . This role is ideal for a retired or semi-retired professional who enjoys building relationships, sharing expertise, and helping municipalities, engineering firms, and industrial clients find effective water and wastewater solutions. What You’ll Do: Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in the drinking water and wastewater markets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry connections. Provide technical insight and credibility when discussing products or services with clients. Attend industry events, association meetings, and professional conferences as needed (reimbursed). Collaborate with internal technical and project teams to ensure client needs are understood and met. Maintain communication of sales activities and pipeline updates. Who You Are: You have 10 years of experience in water / wastewater engineering, operations, or consulting. You understand drinking water and wastewater treatment processes, systems, and technologies. You have extensive knowledge of the regulatory and funding environments. You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You are self-motivated with the ability to manage time independently.
