Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Job Description As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial facility. You must be open to working all shifts in a 3-turn shift rotation, which includes daylight, afternoon, and overnight shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Conduct electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. Repair equipment such as main motor drives, generators, control panels, delays, controllers, switchboards, circuit breakers, and lighting circuits. Install, repair, and maintain power transmission lines, transformers, and high-tension substation equipment. Install and repair conduit, splice and insulate wires and cables, and make splices on hot lines. Analyze circuits and wiring diagrams to modify, service, install, or repair electronic devices and systems. Essential Skills Industrial Maintenance experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair. Experience with equipment such as motor drives, generators, and control panels. Knowledge of installing and maintaining power transmission and high-tension substation equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to analyze circuits and wiring diagrams. Experience with various mill electrical equipment and electronic control systems. Familiarity with power and distribution control equipment and measuring devices. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in an industrial foundry environment with a 3-turn shift rotation: daylight shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), afternoon shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm), and overnight shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am). A shift differential of $0.80 per hour applies for the afternoon and overnight shifts. The initial learner rate is $30.56, with the potential to reach the qualified rate of $33.36 after passing a test within four months. Work attire is appropriate for an industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Monessen, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $63564.80 - $69388.80/yr.
