expanding our Field Service team! We're seeking a skilled Service
Technician responsible for equipment installations for the
start-up, commission, preventative maintenance, and repair of our
centrifugal compressor packages and equipment on-site. Additional
responsibilities to provide technical support, training, and
feedback related to our machines This is a hands-on role where
technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and a strong
commitment to safety and customer satisfaction are essential.
Responsibilities • Performs on-site start-up assistance,
overhauls/repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting. Obtains
first-hand information when troubles exist. Responsible for
implementing corrective steps. • Provides professional
troubleshooting and technical support. Executes assignments with
guidance from experienced service persons. • Promotes and practices
proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective
equipment at all times. • Completes work order forms and other
job-related paperwork on a daily basis. • Reports equipment
troubles. Enters such feedback into company databases. • Presents
training programs to channel partners and customers. • Performs
other related duties as assigned by management. Skills Knowledge
and Experience Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent, or
three to five years related experience and/or training, or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills
and Competencies: Strong problem-solving and process analysis
skills. Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound
decisions. Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable; able to work
independently while contributing effectively within a team
environment. Strong customer-centric attitude with a focus on
delivering high-quality service. Broad understanding of safety,
health, and environmental rules, regulations, policies, and
procedures. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) and work
outside of standard business hours when necessary (with appropriate
notice). Ability to obtain and maintain Unescorted Site Access,
including passing a drug screening process. Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office 365 applications. Experience with ERP systems
(preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills,
including the ability to actively listen and convey technical
information clearly and effectively.
