Job Description:
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a
Fabricator/Welder to join their team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you
will be part of a dedicated team supporting the production of
high-quality steel subassemblies. The ideal candidate will have
strong analytical problem-solving skills, the ability to work with
minimal supervision, and effective communication skills which will
align successfully in the organization. Job Title:
Fabricator/Welder Location: Imperial, PA Pay Range: Shift: Monday
thru Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. What's the Job? Weld steel
subassemblies to AWS B2.1/B2.1M standards. Create, prove out, and
document the dock leveler manufacturing process with an emphasis on
welding. Be an active member of the launch team implementing
welding, painting, and assembly processes. Check measurements and
dimensions of each piece using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares.
Review blueprints, drawings, and other specifications to ensure
accurate completion of fabrication processes. What's Needed? High
school diploma or GED equivalent. AWS B2.1/B2.1M Qualified welder.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S
methodologies. Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds or more.
Familiarity with ERP systems and concepts, preferably SAP. What's
