Job Description:

Clean Harbors, a leading provider in environmental solutions, seeks a dedicated Utility Driver to support our mission in preserving a sustainable and safe environment. This role focuses on safe transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company standards. Operate vehicles for the transportation of hazardous waste across various sites. Ensure proper loading and unloading of waste to prevent spillage or contamination. Maintain accurate records of all transport activities and disposal documentation in compliance with company and environmental regulations. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles to ensure operational safety. Participate in training and emergency response drills. Communicate with customers and facility personnel to ensure efficacious and compliant waste disposal. Proficiency in driving commercial heavy vehicles Knowledge of hazardous waste handling and disposal regulations Ability to maintain accurate logs and records Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance Strong communication and navigation skills Medical Insurance 401k Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement DOT Medical Certification OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Certification preferred
