Job Description:
Administrative Assistant to the Vice President A local
Commercial General Contractor is seeking a highly organized,
detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their Vice
President. This role requires a blend of administrative
competencies and an understanding of the construction industry. The
ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of
managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and will
play a critical role in the smooth operation of the executive

Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to
the executive team, including scheduling meetings, managing
calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements. Act as a liaison
between the executive team and other staff, external partners, and
stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and the timely flow
of information. Prepare and edit correspondence, communications,
presentations, and other documents on behalf of the executive team.
Manage and organize project-specific information, ensuring easy
access and retrieval by the executive team. Coordinate and prepare
for executive meetings and presentations, including material
preparation, agenda setting, and follow-up actions. Handle
confidential information with discretion and integrity. Assist in
the coordination of company events as needed. Contribute to the
continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures.
Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written
communication skills Highly autonomous, self-directed, organized
and detail-oriented Strong math and spreadsheet capabilities
Ability to maintain a calm and helpful attitude under times of
stress Intuitive ability to anticipate needs Advanced computer
skills Comfortable working in a construction environment Strong
interpersonal and negotiation skills Able to interface and
communicate with all levels of employees and management
Professional demeanor Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience
as an Administrative Assistant reporting directly to senior
management Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to
learn other programs and software Strong organizational, project
management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking
