Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract) Location: Downtown Cleveland, OH (On-site) Pay Rate: $22-$27 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Contract (Full-Time, 40 hours/week) Overview: Our client, a reputable organization located in downtown Cleveland, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced accounting department in a dynamic and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently Review and verify invoices and check requests Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies Prepare and perform check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries in a timely manner Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed Qualifications: 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting function Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
